Bicycle Project

Evamor Africa believes in creating and promoting sustainable cities through championing for and mainstreaming green transport systems and models that are efficient, effective and are zero emitters of GHGs which are major catalysts of pollution of the city air and drivers of global warming. To respond to this, Evamor Africa drives a robust cycling campaign through its Kisumu bike club project seeking to influence city residence in adopting and embracing a cycling culture and equally use other sustainable transport systems.

The bicycle project engages Kisumu city dwellers through organised evening and weekend rides, mass sensitization and cycling competitions aiming at creating the much-needed awareness and clamour on the urge to adopt to these models that simultaneously ascertain a healthy city lifestyle. The cycling program through Kisumu bike Club not only address the need to embrace it as a critical means of transport but also advocates for inclusive transport systems that foster the interest of women and children on roads and streets within Kisumu. The Bicycle project equally conducts bike tour activities to bolster local tourism through sustainable transport systems.
